  The Well is such an amazing place to worship. The people are so real and friendly, the music is awesome, and Jack is one of the best preachers you will ever hear. It's always fun and interesting with something new every week. I really like the relaxed atmosphere where anyone can come as they are and be totally welcome, comfortable, and accepted. I know God has a great time being with us on Sundays, you should too!

  I am honored to say that I am a member of The Well UMC in Ponchatoula, LA. The first time I walked into the temporary building a number of years ago, I just knew I was home. I was greeted by no less than thirty people that day, and I just knew this was where I belonged. We are now in our permanent location, and I love our pastor, Dr. Jack O'Dell! His sermons are always meaningful to me, and in fact, there have been quite a few times I thought he was talking directly to me. The people of The Well are all fantastic, and I look forward to services each and every week. Belonging to this church has made such a difference in my life! My prayer life is very active, and it is a prividledge to belong to the Martha Ministry, so that I can help others through prayer. I look forward to each and every Sunday morning, so I can go to church and get my soul filled. We have the best praise band, and I love to sing along with them. I have been a receipiant of our 'prayer blanket' ministry, and whenever I'm down, I wrap myself up in my blanket and can feel the prayers that were said for each knot and the love included. All the times I've been ill, Jack and others have come to minister to me. I can tell you that like American Express, membership at The Well definetly has prividliges too! I know at The Well that I am loved, and accepted for who I am. I know that God hears me when I pray. I know when it's time to be still and listen. I love everything about our church, and it's relevence to the times in which we live. I feel prividledged to belong to such a church, where you can come as you are, and praise God in your own way. I am truly blessed to stand with all the members of The Well and say, here I am Lord! You know where to find me every Sunday morning! ~~Mary Gramlich

  The Well is truly the most welcoming and inviting church I have ever attended. There are so many different types of people that make up our church family, and there is always room for more members! There are many young families in the congregation, but there are also members who grew up in traditional congregations and have just fallen in love with our brand of contemporary worship. Worship is so different from other churches, in a good way! The TV screens project all the words for songs and scriptures, so you can just experience worship instead of constantly shuffling through bulletins and hymnals. The music is great...we sing mostly popular songs that you hear on Christian radio stations. There are also many small group options, both short-term and long-term, that are a great way to not only be spiritually fed throughout the week, but to form relationships with other church members. Overall, The Well has strengthened my faith and allowed me to push my personal boundaries of evangelism and discipleship. I look forward to every Sunday morning, because I know that I will leave The Well with a renewed spirit to carry me through the week!

  We have been attending The Well for about a year and a half now. We have a new minister, but Matt is just as fabulous as Jack was. We have a great band if you like a contemporary worship style. The congregation has a refreshing can-do attitude. Everyone can find ways to be involved. It very much felt like being "at-home" so that my family ended up joining the second Sunday we attended.
